Why the charge of $1.99 for the Men’s event?
Great question! We here at Wrestle MATNESS have decided to hold off Advertisements from our gaming site (app.wrestleMATNESS.com). Therefore, we tend to charge small fees for the biggest events (ie; NCAA’s, PSU vs IOWA, FINAL X). Since our site features gaming and users jump from league pages to leaderboard page and back again, we don’t want to lessen the experience for users by presenting ads to deal with. Last year, Wrestle MATNESS featured (50+) FREE events.
Why does the 3rd match say “If Necessary”?
FINAL X features a Best of 3 match series for each matchup. It’s honestly the best attribute of this event, in our opinion. When a wrestler happens to win Match 1 and Match 2, then the third match is not NECESSARY. In this case, Wrestle MATNESS will remove the 3rd and deciding match from the pick’s card. This will not affect scoring in any way.
